Simulation Engineer

Simulation Engineer – Immediate Availability

Illinois Rocstar is seeking a simulation engineer at the BS or MS level. A firm understanding of solid or fluid mechanics principles and willingness to learn is required. Experience with simulation software such as Nek5000, ABAQUS, STAR-CCM+, FLUENT, or OpenFOAM is highly desired. Additionally, experience with CAD and meshing is positive. As part of our team you will be tasked with performing simulations with a complete workflow including meshing, physical model selection, and post processing. You will further have the opportunity to present the results of your work through reports, papers, meetings, conferences, etc. As such, strong writing and communication skills are very highly desired.
